It's been nearly two years since The Judgement Day's "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio turned on his father Rey Mysterio. They've since squared off at WrestleMania twice, with Dom recently picking up some big wins over his dad on RAW

During a recent interview, an in-character Mysterio revealed what it would take for him to put his differences aside with the WWE Hall of Famer.

"[Rey] would have to publicly get on his knees in the middle of the ring, in front of me, take off his mask, unmask himself willingly, hand it to me like he's presenting it to me as some sort of offering, and declaring that I am the greatest Mysterio of all time," Dominik declared. "As he gives it to me, he will get down and bow to me, and I will take the mask and obviously just carry on the legacy as the greatest Mysterio that ever lived."

Okay, maybe he doesn't have to bow at the end, but if he's still on his knees and unmasks," he said when challenged on that. "I'm already taller than him so I don't need to be above him, but I want him to feel that much lower, and I want him to know how much superior I am than him."

Keeping the gimmick going, Dominik took the opportunity to claim he's much further ahead in his career after four years than his father was in that same time...and then got really personal.

"I'm better looking, I'm better in the ring, my style's better, my fashion's better, my tattoos are better, my hair - he doesn't even have hair, my hair is better," Dominik stated. "The reason he doesn't talk is because he sounds funny. He sounds like Kermit the Frog times ten."

While this is all in good fun, the day The Judgement Day member does defeat his father to earn that mask will likely catapult him into superstardom.

Earlier this year, Rey - also in character - took the opportunity to reveal how proud he is of his son. "The fact that he’s succeeding and becoming his own person, he’s already his own person," he said. "You don’t know how many times I would have loved to call him up and say, ‘Congratulations, son, you’re really killing it.’ But it hurts."

"Unfortunately, I can’t do it, and that really hurts. I wish things would be different. But as a father, despite our differences. I’m extremely proud of what he’s doing and what he’s conquering. He just better not step in the ring with me..."
