Tito Ortiz is one of the biggest names in the history of Mixed Martial Arts, and it now appears as if he's looking to make an impact in the wrestling world. According to Dave Meltzer on a recent Wrestling Observer Radio, the former UFC star was spotted training at the WWE Performance Center this week.

"Tito Ortiz is training to be a professional wrestler at the Performance Center," Meltzer claims. "He was there all week and I heard great things about his work ethic [and] his enthusiasm."

Ortiz has previously confirmed talks with WWE, and it's no secret that he's a huge wrestling fan (he made appearances for TNA in 2005 and was a special guest referee for an NWA world title match).

It's worth noting that Ortiz is 45 years old and that he has a series of neck and back issues. As a result, he'll likely only compete in a handful of matches for WWE. A UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, it will certainly be interesting seeing what he brings to the table in WWE.
