Vince McMahon was forced to step down as WWE Chairman amid a series of disturbing sexual misconduct and trafficking claims from former WWE employee Janel Grant.
While no criminal charges are being pursued, several other claims about McMahon have been made, with others from previous decades—the Rita Chatterton incident, for example—resurfacing. Now, the billionaire is being accused of engaging in more inappropriate behaviour, this time with the late WWE Diva and Playboy model, Ashley Massaro.
Before passing, Massaro had claimed that she was sexually assaulted at a US military base during a WWE tour of Kuwait in 2007 by a man posing as a doctor, with the company allegedly influencing her not to go public with what happened to avoid embarrassment. She also accused McMahon of derailing her career after rejecting her employer's advances.
Now, former WWE writer Dan St. Germain has made some shocking allegations about an incident between McMahon and Massaro during a European tour in the late 2000s.
"Vince f***ed a girl in front of everyone. They were on a European trip, and Vince started fingerf***ing Ashley Massaro. And then Vince goes when they got on the tarmac, 'Alright, everyone, get on the tarmac,'" he said. "They all went on the tarmac and watched as the f***ing plane bounced back and forth, and Vince just f***ed this girl in front of them."
St. Germain added, "He’s an absolute maniac. This is true. So anyway, a lot of crazy stuff about that place."
We've heard that Massaro went through many negative experiences while working in WWE, and this may be another incident to add to the list of reasons why she ultimately took her own life (it's been reported that she struggled to overcome what she'd been through in the company).
McMahon may no longer be facing criminal charges for allegedly sexually abusing and trafficking former WWE employee Janel Grant, but the civil case rolls on. As things stand, she appears to be on the cusp of having her day in court, though many believe the matter will be settled privately.
The billionaire has maintained his innocence, so if this lawsuit does reach the courtroom, he'll come under a level of scrutiny he's not used to. Still, the former WWE Chairman has never been one to back down, even after a seemingly forced retirement and his eventual departure from WWE when the company was sold to Endeavor.
