Former WWE Champion And World's Strongest Man Mark Henry Says He Hasn't Retired Just Yet
A recent report claimed that Mark Henry, who hasn't been on WWE television in some time, had finally decided to hang up his wrestling boots for good, but The World's Strongest Man has now denied the rumor...
Reports began circulating online yesterday that The World's Strangest Man Mark Henry had finally decide to retire after an illustrious 20 year career with The WWE, but that doesn't appear ro be the case.
Henry told SI.com that he's still got some gas left in the tank:
“I am not retired. There is still a lot I can do. I love the WWE, I love the company, but I have two kids and they want me home. They want me to see their recitals and sporting events, and I want to see them grow and evolve. My dad didn’t live with me when I was growing up, and he missed so much. I am not going to repeat that.”
Could Henry wind up entering The Royal Rumble match, perhaps?
Whatever capacity he eventually returns in, it'd be great to see him get another run with the title before he eventually does hang up his boots, because his previous WWE Championship reign is probably one of the most underrated in the history of the company.
