Well, this is unexpected! It's been revealed today that Forrec has been working with WWE to dream up some branded theme park attractions. Nothing solid has been revealed about when the prospective park could open and it seems like it's something which is literally years away, but the plan apparently would be for it to be based in Orlando.
There's been talk for years about a physical WWE Hall of Fame being opened in Orlando seeing as the WWE Performance Center is there, but a theme park accompanying that would make perfect sense.
Among the possible rides being considered are one geared around the Moonsault, the Rock Bottom, and Suplex City. There's also a Road to WrestleMania ride and another revolving around Triple H's sledgehammer. One of them even sits inside a gigantic wrestling ring and there's even a WWE House of Horrors featuring the likes of The Undertaker and The Boogeyman!
WWE is always looking for ways to expand and this would be a great example of that. It's an attraction which could easily be added to a pre-existing park or be completely standalone, but who knows if and when it will become a reality. It's certainly something wrestling fans would love anyway, so we'll be sure to keep you updated!
