Here's Why Sasha Banks Was M.I.A. During Last Night's ROYAL RUMBLE PPV

Fans couldn't help but notice that Sasha Banks was nowhere to be seen during last night's Royal Rumble match, and we may now have a reason why. Unfortunately, it's not good news for fans of The Boss!

According to Fightful.com, Sasha Banks was not cleared to compete during last night's Royal Rumble PPV. The Boss was expected to be part of the Women's Rumble match but it seems like an unknown injury is to blame; however, there's currently no word on when she might return to action.

The last time Banks wrestled was during an episode of SmackDown on January 3rd when she teamed with Bayley against Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans, and Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

Twice now, Banks has been advertised to face Lacey Evans on the blue brand but those matches have been pulled shortly after with various storyline reasons given as an explanation. As a result, it's hard not to wonder whether her injury is related to that. Interestingly, it's believed that Kelly Kelly was the one who took Banks' spot in the Rumble match last night.

However, while The Boss was definitely missed, it seems clear that Charlotte Flair was always going to emerge from the PPV as the winner.
