It Appears WWE's Original Plans For Brock Lesnar Have Drastically Changed Ahead Of SMACKDOWN Return

As you might recall, it was recently revealed by the Staples Center in Los Angeles that Brock Lesnar had "bought" a ticket to the December 10 edition of SmackDown. Clearly meant to increase ticket sales, we were intrigued to see The Beast potentially invade the show following his indefinite suspension.

Well, as is so often the case with WWE, plans have changed, and Lesnar is now set to appear during tonight's episode after Kayla Braxton announced the lifting of his suspension last week.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was the plan for Lesnar to show up with a ticket next week, but plans have clearly changed. There had been claims the former Universal Champion would remain sidelined until January, but WWE clearly feels they need his star power before then.

During last week's SmackDown, Sami Zayn won a battle royal to earn a shot at Roman Reigns' title, so we do wonder if Lesnar plans to get involved with that ahead of the Day One PPV on January 1st. However, Dave Meltzer has previously noted that the current plan is for Reigns vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania.
