It Doesn't Sound Like WWE Is Planning To Grant Sin Cara His Release Following His Recent Request

Sin Cara took to social media to request his release from WWE last night and the news didn't come as a huge surprise to most fans given the way he's been used both in recent weeks and over the past few years. Now, PW Insider has revealed that while he was scheduled to be at next week's RAW, WWE has now made the decision to send him home.

As of right now, there are no plans to grant him his release from the company and, as he recently signed a three-year deal, that means he's under contract until at least 2022.

It's no secret that WWE isn't releasing wrestlers because they don't want them heading to All Elite Wrestling. As a result, it seems doubtful that they'll allow Sin Cara to head elsewhere so there's a good chance he'll be forced to sit at home for the next three years unless the two sides can come to some sort of agreement.

As always, we'll keep you guys updated.
