Jeff Hardy Likely To Miss WRESTLEMANIA Due To An Upcoming Court Appearance

Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy is currently at home recovering from a leg injury but any plans WWE had to use him at WrestleMania may have gone out of the window due to a scheduled court appearance...

It's been revealed today that Jeff Hardy has a court date in North Carolina's North County Court on April 6th. Why does that matter? Well, it just so happens to be the day after WrestleMania so the chances of the currently injured WWE Superstar being used at the Show of Shows are now slimmer than ever.

His contract was supposed to expire on March 1st but time has been added to it because of recurring injuries. He's expected to be ready in time for WrestleMania but him being there seems unrealistic.

As you may recall, Jeff was arrested last October after he was spotted driving erratically. After refusing to use a breathalyzer, officers took a blood sample and this is the latest in a long line of issues for the troubled WWE veteran.

So, while he may have time left on his contract, WWE may ultimately decide to just release him rather than bring Jeff back into the fold (which could lead to even more negative publicity in the long run).
