MAJOR LEAGUE WRESTLING Has Accused WWE Of Contract Tampering And Now Have Attorneys On The Case

It sounds like WWE will soon be in the midst of a legal battle with Major League Wrestling as the latter company's attorneys have now "engaged" WWE's lawyers over claims of contract tampering...

According to PW Insider, Major League Wrestling has accused WWE of contract tampering and their attorneys "engaged" WWE attorneys last week. Apparently, this has nothing to do with Davey Boy Smith Jr. appearing on WWE's The Bump, but is instead related to "multiple talents."

MLW has said that they have an "abundance" of evidence that points to contract tampering by WWE, but the company is hopeful that they won't have to go to court over the matter.

WWE has downplayed these claims. However, it's worth noting that MLW contracts prohibit their wrestlers from talking to WWE, so that's probably what this is related to. After all, it's no secret that wrestlers have always reached out to other companies through intermediaries about jumping ship, but WWE may have pushed their luck this time by trying to win over MLW talent.

We'll let you guys know how this situation develops.
