Mark Henry has been training hard in recent months, dropping a tonne of weight and getting into shape for one final run. He's made no secret of the fact he wants to have a proper retirement match, but those of you who expected that to take place in a WWE ring are going to be very disappointed.
During AEW's Double Or Nothing PPV last night, Tony Schiavone announced an unexpected new signing: the World's Strongest Man!
Henry is going to serve as the analyst on AEW Rampage as part of the new show's commentary team when it's launched this August on TNT. He will also be a coach for the company, and is expected to open up on his decision to become "All Elite" on Friday night's episode of Dynamite.
There was no mention of Henry wrestling, but something tells us that he will get that final match in this company rather than WWE. Paul Wight, a.k.a. The Big Show, remains keen to wrestle, so that's one possibility. However, Henry has talked a lot about wanting to put a talent over on his way out.
