On Friday Night SmackDown, Sami Zayn cut a promo about how he was impressed by how much of a stud Shinsuke Nakamura is as intercontinental champion. As a token of his appreciation, he decided to get him a gift, which he revealed was the brand new design of the WWE Intercontinental Championship title belt.

Rumors and speculation of two new titles circuled recently, with one of them being revealed as Bray Wyatt's blue Universal Championship. The other was unknown, with fans thinking it could be yet another universal title design dedicated to The Fiend or possibly the United States title or Raw and SmackDown tag team titles.

It's out with the old, classic design and in with the new, which features the side plates that have become standard with mostly all of the WWE tiles as of late.

What do you think of the new design? Is it an upgrade, downgrade or lateral move from what we already had? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
