For reasons which aren't entirely clear, Corey Graves decided to use Twitter to criticise Mauro Ranallo's commentary during NXT TakeOver: WarGames on Saturday night. For someone who frequently whinges about trolls on social media, it was surprising to see him essentially attack his fellow commentator's work and the fallout from that appears to be significant.

While Michael Cole claimed during Survivor Series that Ranallo wasn't present at the PPV because he blew his voice out the night before, it's since been reported that Graves' remarks led to a series of attacks on Ranallo online and he deleted his Twitter account as a result (it's no secret that he has issues with bipolar disorder so this likely ended up hitting him hard).

Frank Shamrock, Ranallo's best friend and agent, responded to a Graves with a quote saying, "Social media has made too many of you comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the mouth for it." Clearly, he wasn't impressed and it's going to be interesting to see if anything comes of this and whether Graves comments on it during his next podcast.
