Paul Heyman Says He Knew Ryback Would Never Be A Success In WWE "Because He Was A Schmuck"

Ryback was briefly a "Paul Heyman Guy" when he was working for WWE a few years ago, but it doesn't sound like Roman Reigns' current advocate was particularly fond of the Big Guy! More past the jump...

At one time, Ryback Reeves seemed primed to be a major star in WWE, and was being pushed as a main event player. Things didn't quite work out that way (although he did have an Intercontinental Championship run), and "The Big Guy" ended up parting ways with the company in 2016.

Ryback has never spoken particularly fondly about his time in WWE and indicated that it was far from an amicable departure, citing pay disputes and unfair treatment. We've also heard from several current and former Superstars that found him difficult to work with (including CM Punk), and now Paul Heyman has taken a little jab of his own.

During the High Spots Virtual Q&A, the always outspoken Heyman was asked if there was anyone he knew wouldn’t be a success in WWE. His response? “Ryback. Would you like to know why Ryback? Because he was a schmuck.”

Heyman, who is currently serving as the "Special Council" to Roman Reigns on SmackDown, briefly managed Ryback shortly before he left the company, and it doesn't sound like he enjoyed the angle very much!

Paul didn't elaborate on his reasons for disliking The Big Guy, but it might have something to do with this Tweet!
