All weekend, we've been hearing reports that a number of WWE Superstars could choose to leave the company as contracts start to expire but it's now been noted that Rey Mysterio could also choose to go elsewhere depending on how discussions with the company go over the coming months.

Mysterio signed a two-year deal with the company last September but his contract also had an opt-out clause after eighteen months. As a result, the Master of the 619 could choose to depart WWE shortly before WrestleMania. However, now that All Elite Wrestling is up and running, he's definitely going to have some leverage to score a new, big money deal.

It's also worth noting that WWE is planning to have his son, Dominik, wrestle sometime next year so the chances of Rey leaving do seem slim. He's also been given a lighter schedule and is receiving a push which will see him challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series.

However, you never know what might happen so we'll be keeping a close eye on this one!
