Last week's RAW ended with the surprise return of Rhea Ripley and the former Women's World Champion wasted no time opening up last night's show.
She immediately set her sights on Liv Morgan, only to be interrupted by Dominik Mysterio who tried desperately to plead his case with "Mami." Morgan appeared on the Tron and, after taunting the Eradicator, accepted her challenge for a match at SummerSlam.
However, Morgan once again vowed to take everything from Mysterio, including Mysterio.
Throughout the night, Dom repeatedly tried to apologise to Ripley, eventually deciding to square off with Jey Uso after he talked to World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest about her being single and ready to mingle. Alas, Mysterio's declaration that he'd made the match to prove she belonged to him didn't go down well!
He lost to Uso but, in a backstage segment, Rhea made it clear that he belongs to her.
RAW also featured what appeared to be the continuation of Priest's babyface turn in a heated confrontation with his SummerSlam challenger, Gunther. The Austrian mocked the champion's past on the streets and things got increasingly tense between the two men before Braun Strowman made his way to the ring.
Priest picked up a decisive win over his opponent and then fended off an attack from Gunther. You can see some highlights from that below.
Elsewhere in the show, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce welcomed Drew McIntyre back and confirmed he could have his match with CM Punk at SummerSlam...if he apologised to the two referees he previously attacked.
The Scottish Psychopath refused and he now remains suspended. However, Seth Rollins hit the ring to intervene, suggesting the plan is for us to get a Triple Threat match at the PLE, a clever way to extend Punk's feud with both men.
