Samoa Joe's Injury During RAW Was Reportedly 100% Legit And He's Now Undergoing Medical Testing

Samoa Joe disappeared from that RAW Tag Team Championship match last night but him being injured wasn't a storyline and was in fact, a legitimate issue which is now being evaluated by WWE doctors...

As we told you earlier today, Samoa Joe suffered an injury during last night's RAW Tag Team Championship match which saw him partner up with Kevin Owens to take on Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy.

If you looked closely, you may have noticed that after hitting a dive to the outside, Joe landed badly and appeared to then grab the back of his head. He was pulled from the match and made to go to the back, leading to Owens having to finish the match by himself (the three remaining Superstars had to call the bout on the fly).

Now, PW Insider reports that the injury is 100% legit and not storyline based. It was WWE medical personnel who decided not to let him continue competing and Dave Meltzer adds that Joe likely suffered a concussion. That could keep him out for at least a few weeks.

Since arriving in WWE, Joe has been unlucky enough to suffer his fair share of injuries and this is just the latest. Regardless, we wish him a speedy recovery and hope to have a positive update soon.
