The days of WWE quickly announcing the locations of its upcoming PLEs appear to be over, particularly now that Triple H has made them feel important and relevant (something which was rarely the case when Vince McMahon's booking turned them into overlong episodes of RAW).
Today, The Game has confirmed that this year's Survivor Series: WarGames will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on November 30.
In the video below, Triple H says he'd just wrapped up a call with Destination Vancouver, a non-profit organization that works to increase tourism in the city. With the deal done, the WWE COO confirmed we're getting the WarGames format for the third year in a row, presumably bringing the days of RAW vs. SmackDown to a definitive end.
This will mark the first time Survivor Series has been held in Vancouver and, believe it or not, it's also the first time the city has hosted a WWE PLE since 1998's WWF In Your House 26: Rock Bottom!
Last year's Survivor Series: WarGames was a big one for the Triple H era because it concluded with the jaw-dropping return of CM Punk! Whether this year's effort can live up to a surprise that big remains to be seen, though we'd imagine the WarGames match is being saved for some Bloodline vs. Bloodline action.
