On last week's episode of SmackDown Live, Kevin Owens provoked Shane McMahon into attacking him. That led to the show's Commissioner being suspended and his father and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon returned last night to address the situation. After a tense confrontation with Owens, Vince would make a match between Shane and Owens at Hell in a Cell official.

We'll bring you more on that later but things took an unexpected turn when Owens told Vince he'd agree to the match against Shane on one condition; if provoked by a McMahon, he's allowed to beat them senseless. Vince agreed and shook Owens' hand but was met with a brutal shoot headbutt which split his forehead open. Bear in mind that Vince is a 72-year-old man!

It was a shocking moment, though, and one which could have had serious real-life ramifications for the WWE Chairman. Stephanie returned as SmackDown Live went off the air so it now remains to be seen what direction this story will head in and what sort of ramifications Owens will face next week. Could all this be leading to the return of Triple H? We'll just have to wait and see!
