Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:
On tap for tonight's episode, the big selling point is SmackDown's Chelsea Green defending her Women's United States Championship title against Sol Ruca. Not only is there a barrier of an NXT Superstar winning a main roster title that stands in Sol Ruca's way, but Green's popularity and the numbers game of having Piper Niven and Alba Fyre by her side while Ruca will just have Zaria. Plus, Zelina Vega is being set up to challenge Green, so WWE won't have Ruca win the title and offset that. Green is retaining.
Eddy Thorpe and Trick Williams will finally settle their score in an NXT Underground match. Williams should be victorious and earn a title shot against Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver.
Ricky Saints will face Ridge Holland (and will almost assuredly win), and The Family looks to get some revenge on The Culling in a six-person mixed tag team match. The Culling has thought several steps ahead while The Family is emotional, which will make them vulnerable to mistakes. The heels are most likely coming out on top of that bout, unless Tony D'Angelo somehow steps in and manages to help them out and use this as a means to gain a rematch for the North American Championship in a future match against Shawn Spears.
I keep expecting more information from the group of Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars, and Cutler James, and WWE keeps refusing to elaborate on them in any fashion. That means it probably won't happen this week—which also means I'll probably be wrong by saying that and they actually will give them a name and/or an explanation.
Plenty more that hasn't been announced yet will take place, too, so stay tuned to see what goes down!
Here are your results for WWE NXT March 18, 2025:
- Women's United States Championship Match: Chelsea Green (c) defeated Sol Ruca by pinfall to retain her title.
- Backstage in the locker room, Trick Williams wasn't hearing Je'Von Evans out when Evans was trying to say they need to work together to fight the four people who have been attacking lately. Trick reiterated that Evans isn't him and he's never going to be the NXT champion, while Trick is going to win that back. After Trick left, Lexis King came over to pick on Evans, saying it's good that he can eat solid food again. Evans punched King in the face.
- Stacks wants Tony D'Angelo to sit in the back tonight for the mixed tag match.
- Stephanie Vaquer cut a promo in the ring about how she chose to go to NXT to make history in the best women's division on the planet, and that the next person to come out is her next challenger. Jordynne Grace did just that, and started to explain why she deserves a title opportunity, only for Jaida Parker to jump her from behind, get into the ring, and say that she's the first in line and is going to make sure Vaquer isn't a double champion for long.
- Hank Walker and Tank Ledger psyched themselves up backstage.
- Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger by pinfall.
- Eddy Thorpe and Ridge Holland bonded over how the locker room and others in NXT don't respect them.
- Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match: The Culling (Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Izzi Dame) defeated The Family (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, and Adriana Rizzo) by pinfall. The Family was distracted by footage of Tony D'Angelo being attacked backstage by Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin.
- In her office, Ava informs Stephanie Vaquer she'll face Jaida Parker next week. Fallon Henley comes in and demands her title rematch again, with it eventually being decided that she'll face Vaquer after Parker's match next week.
- Jacy Jayne defeated Karmen Petrovic by pinfall. Ashante "Thee" Adonis pulled out a steel chair for Petrovic to use at one point, but she chose not to.
- Hank and Tank are upset that they "went extreme" and still came up short. Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe came over to make fun of them for just not having it.
- Jaida Parker cut a quick promo backstage about how he's going to win the NXT Women's Championship next week. In the background, Karmen Petrovic was mad at Ashante Adonis and walked away from him.
- Ricky Saints defeated Ridge Holland by pinfall.
- NXT Underground: Trick Williams defeated Eddy Thorpe by knockout. Williams called out Oba Femi after the match. Je'Von Evans showed up as well, trying to get Femi and Williams on board to fight off Dark State (Lennox, Shugars, Griffin and James), who didn't even enter the ring. A brawl ensued with Williams pushing Evans out of the way, Evans going after Williams and eventually taking out Femi, and the EVOLVE crew who were ringside for the NXT Underground match trying to separate everyone.
