WWE's next PLE, Clash in Paris, takes place in the Paris La Defense Arena in Paris, France, this Sunday, August 31. For those of you in the U.S., you'll be able to watch the show on Peacock before WWE's PLEs move to ESPN with next month's Wrestlepalooza.
For everyone else, Clash in Paris will stream live on Netflix. If you happen to be residing in France, the show will have an 8pm start time; that's 7pm in the UK, and 2pm ET/11am PT in the U.S.
As for the card, we're getting the expected five matches. It's highly unlikely that anything we be added during SmackDown, and there's only going to be two championship defences on Sunday.
Since Triple H took over WWE creative, five matches have become the norm for shows like this one. However, it's disappointing to see so many of those mid-level belts fall by the wayside yet again.
World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight vs. CM Punk
John Cena vs. Logan Paul
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed
Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook Match
Sheamus vs. Rusev
WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Match
Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Bella
It's a solid, if somewhat unspectacular lineup. Original plans called for the winner of Naomi vs. Iyo Sky to defend the Women's World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris. Unfortunately, that match never happened due to Naomi's pregnancy.
During last night's RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce told Vaquer that she would no longer be competing at Clash in Paris, but will get a title match with a new opponent somewhere down the line. Many fans have expressed disappointment with the decision and questioned why WWE hasn't looked for a way to get the title on her now.
As always, make sure you keep checking back here for updates on Clash in Paris as we have them.
