Two of the free agents who weren't picked during the first pool of superstars in the 2020 WWE Draft were Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik of Lucha House Party. Kalisto was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown, but his two partners were still left without a home following SmackDown and Talking Smack.
Ten minutes prior to Monday Night Raw, during the WWE Watch Along, Matt Camp revealed that a pick had just been made while talking to Lucha House Party. Splitting them up a bit, Kalisto remains on SmackDown, but Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik have been drafted to Monday Night Raw.
There has been plenty of tension within Lucha House Party in recent weeks, which carried over into this announcement. Kalisto seemed more than willing to go off on his own and prove that he's the GLOAT (Greatest Luchador of All Time) while feigning interest in wishing his partners good luck on Raw. Dorado took a few jabs in response, as he's been outspoken against Kalisto and making fun of him for his "good lucha thing" botch from the 2016 draft.
While Dorado and Metalik will likely continue teaming, this does mean one member of Lucha House Party is out of the mix. That seems to be a trend this year.
Stay tuned for more draft picks coming the rest of the night!
