Over the past couple of months, WWE has been teasing dissension between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon and the belief among fans is that the latter will turn heel and become a Mr. McMahon style authority figure. Well, it seems that's not on the cards after all as a new report points to the leader of the Yes Movement and former WWE Champion being the one to break bad on SmackDown Live.

There are some who believe that WWE is mulling over a heel turn for Bryan to hurt him if he decides to leave WWE and wrestle on the independents but it's unlikely to make even the slightest difference.

On last week's SmackDown Live, Bryan decided to have AJ Styles defend his title against both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a handicap match at the Royal Rumble, a very heel-ish move so it's easy to believe this report and that he'll ultimately team up with those two (hopefully for a match at WrestleMania).
