WWE Reportedly Has Plans To Rebrand The Judgement Day (And You Won't Believe What's Being Considered)

A new Judgement Day was formed after the recent SummerSlam PLE and it looks like WWE is planning on rebranding the faction...with a name we'd guarantee you won't be able to guess! Read on for details.

The Judgement Day has evolved a lot since first being introduced. Originally, WWE Hall of Famer Edge was in charge of the faction, with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley the first to join him.

However, when Vince McMahon decided to take the group in a supernatural direction, the Rated-R Superstar decided he wanted out, leaving Finn Balor to replace the veteran star. It was around this time the former WWE Chairman was pushed out of the company, and we've since seen Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh join The Judgement Day's (non-spooky) ranks.

R-Truth stuck around as an unofficial member for a while and Carlito has also recently been brought into the fold.

The heel group's popularity has since continued to increase and, after at least a year of teases, Balor recently turned on Damian Priest when he cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. At the same PLE, Mysterio betrayed "Mami" when he allied himself with Liv Morgan.

Now, The Judgement Day is led by Balor, leaving Priest and Ripley to face them alone.

According to the insider @WrestleVotes X account, WWE is mulling over ways to rebrand this new Judgement Day and the current name...well, it's not what we expected!

"Plans are in motion to rebrand the 'new' Judgment Day. Sources say the group’s essence will stay the same, but a name change is likely," they reveal. "The leading candidate is an out-of-the-box, yet bold idea: 'Street Trash.'"

Okay then! It's a strange suggestion but one which is likely to have a good story behind it if the new Triple H era of WWE is anything to go by.

"I talk about representing culture and my background, but I also represent the Judgment Day," Priest said of his association with the group earlier this year. "We all represent each other. But winning the world title means a lot for us. It solidifies the group. We have Rhea, the women’s world champion, me, the men’s world champion."

"I think you look at the history of factions, where does that put the Judgment Day? We’ve had undisputed [tag] titles, we’ve had North American Titles, now we have world titles. I don’t know see how we’re not in the conversation for one of the best factions of all time."

Stay tuned for updates.
