WWE Will Reportedly Edit Edge's First Spear Back Into The ROYAL RUMBLE PPV Following Backlash

WWE's production team made a big blunder when they showed a crowd reaction instead of Edge's Spear on Dolph Ziggler during Sunday's Royal Rumble but future versions of the PPV on the WWE Network will be edited.

Edge made his in-ring return to WWE during Sunday's Royal Rumble PPV but the show's director showed one too many crowd shots and that means fans at home missed the WWE Hall of Famer's first Spear back (which he hit on Dolph Ziggler).

Since then, both Ziggler and wrestling fans have taken to social media to air their grievances but we may now have some good news for you!

According to Bryan Alvarez on today's Wrestling Observer Live, WWE is planning to edit the footage so that we'll be able to see Edge enter the ring and hit the Spear. That sucks for the fans who will no longer be immortalised as part of the PPV but it's definitely the right move.

As of right now, the change to the VOD footage has not been made but we'll be sure to keep you guys updated if and when we learn more about this.
