Ace Steel Breaks His Silence On AEW's "Brawl Out" Incident With CM Punk And Members Of The Elite

Ace Steel was among those present for the now-infamous "Brawl Out" incident and he's broken his silence on what went down between CM Punk and The Elite, while also weighing in on his friend's WWE return.

Until this past September, Ace Steel was a producer in AEW and remains a longtime friend and trainer of CM Punk's.

Of course, many of you likely wouldn't have heard his name if not for "Brawl Out," the 2022 incident at the All Out PPV which allegedly saw Punk clash with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks backstage shortly after skewering them during a memorable post-show press conference.

During a recent appearance on Wrestling with Rip Rogers, Steel finally broke his silence - as much as he's legally able to - on what happened that evening.

"Well, I worked with a lot of great people, some great, some not so much," he started. "Family still exists in this business, there are things none of us can say, and none of us will, you know, I think my wife's the only one who could probably tell the story since she was there. Maybe someday."

Explaining that he and Punk emerged from the situation with no legal issues, Steel was unable to elaborate on what happened - there were claims at the time he bit Omega after a chair was thrown at him - but did suggest the full story could one day come out.

"You might hear something; I'm sure it's gonna be on f****** Dark Side of the Ring someday; I laughed at the time, going, 'All this s***'s gonna be on Dark Side of the Ring someday,' you know, someone's going to want to know."

Many conflicting stories were reported after the incident, with plenty of them believed to have been shared with friendly reporters (such as Dave Meltzer) by members of The Elite. To that, Steel says, "No one gave a s*** about my mental health when that went on."

As for how he feels now the Best in the World has made his WWE return, Steel concluded, "I'm very proud of my number one student that I've ever coached in the world for heading back to show the world who the f*** he is... The reason people hate him or whatever is he's not about the bulls***, and the guy doesn't take s***, and he doesn't take it lightly. And when you've had enough s***, you either explode, or you take care of business yourself, and you defend yourself."

Even Punk and Steel's attorney has chimed in today...
