AEW REVOLUTION Was A HUGE Night For Wardlow - Has He Finally Turned Babyface By Betraying MJF?

Fans have slowly been getting behind Wardlow, and the worse MJF treats him, the more they want to see him deliver a Powerbomb Symphony to the dastardly heel. Recent weeks have seen Wardlow receive a massive babyface reaction, and that was the case during AEW Revolution last night.

Competing in the "Face of the Revolution Ladder Match," Wardlow delivered a devastating powerbomb to Ricky Starks off the ladder that allowed him to grab the brass ring and a shot at the TNT Championship. Later that same evening, MJF battled CM Punk in a bloody Dog Collar match that saw Max call out for Wardlow's help when it became clear he couldn't keep the Best in the World down.

He hit the ring and started looking for MJF's Dynamite Diamond ring, but seemed to have trouble putting his hands on it. That gave Punk the chance to hit the GTS, dropping MJF on thumbtacks; with that, Wardlow suddenly remembered where he'd placed the ring and as good as handed it to Punk. After MJF spat in his face, Punk hit his opponent with it and scored the pinfall victory.

Needless to say, it feels like the stage is finally being set for Wardlow to feud with his employer, and we'd bet on MJF causing him the loss when he challenges for the TNT title in a couple of weeks...
