Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite (July 2, 2025), taking place at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, will air starting at 8 p.m. on TBS and HBO Max.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:

On tap for tonight's episode, Kota Ibushi battles Kazuchika Okada in a non-title match. However, if Ibushi wins, he should likely be the first challenger for Okada if he beats Kenny Omega for the AEW Unified Championship (such a dumb name) at All In, so I'm going with Ibushi winning here.

Mercedes Mone will face Mina Shirakawa with the TBS Championship on the line. There's a slight chance the title changes hands to take Mone down a peg and to prevent her from having both titles if she were to beat Toni Storm, but it's hard to bet against Mone. Shirakawa could just be set up to lose to her as she's always done. Just don't sleep on that potential title change!

Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay will certainly beat The Beast Mortos and Dralistico. This is to boost their stock before their Young Bucks match at All In. Likewise, Konosuke Takeshita and The Young Bucks will beat Bandido, O'Reilly, and Strong, and I'd assume that Bandido will take the pin to also help boost some stock in the idea of Takeshita beating Bandido for the ROH World Championship at Supercard of Honor.

The #2 spot for the Casino Gauntlet four-way match is a tough one to call, as being #2 doesn't mean particularly anything. However, since Mark Briscoe is #1, I will say MJF gets this win so they start the match off together at the pay-per-view, since they've started a feud between each other recently.

Here are your results for AEW Dynamite - July 2, 2025:

  • Promo: "Hangman" Adam Page challenged Jon Moxley to make their AEW World Championship match for All In a Texas Death Match. Moxley declined at first, and after The Death Riders beat up Page, who stood back up and continued to taunt the champion, Moxley then accepted the challenge. Page then took out Marina Shafir with a Buckshot Lariat.
  • The Young Bucks were shown flaunting their wealth around California.
  • Mercedes Moné (c) defeated Mina Shirakawa to retain the TBS Championship
  • MJF defeated Anthony Bowens, AR Fox and Brody King to earn the #2 spot in the Casino Gauntlet at All In. Mark Briscoe came out to cut a promo on how he's going to beat up MJF in that match. JetSpeed then ran out to fight with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, but couldn't get the job done. After The Hurt Syndicate walked off, "Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight got back up, so Lashley and Benjamin beat them down some more. JetSpeed got up again and said that The Hurt Syndicate knows how to hurt people, but if they want to retain their titles, they're going to have to kill them, and that Shelton Benjamin's mama must have taught him how to fight and he wants to face Benjamin one-on-one on Collision (which will be taped after Dynamite)
  • Konosuke Takeshita and the Young Bucks defeated Bandido, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong by pinfall. After the match, Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay came out for a fight and to get an answer about the stipulation for their tag team match at All In. They clarify that they don't want the EVP powers; they just want to take them away from Nicholas and Matthew Jackson. The Young Bucks refuse, as they get nothing out of it. Ospreay suggests that if The Young Bucks win, Ospreay and Swerve can't challenge for the world title for 1 year. Strickland isn't okay with this, but eventually agrees.
  • Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay defeated The Beast Mortos and Dralistico
  • Kazuchika Okada defeated Kota Ibushi by pinfall.
