Will we crown a new TNT Champion?
Adam Cole will defend his title for the fourth time tonight as the TNT Champion will fight Josh Alexander. Now the Don Callis Family member still hasn’t won a title within AEW yet. However, Josh Alexander is a notable TNA star that had the longest Impact World Championship run in the company’s history. Add the fact that Josh is also a former X-Division Champion and the 38-year-old knows what it takes to be a champion.
Will Josh Alexander cut Adam Cole’s run short and become the 27th TNT Champion? Or will Adam Cole shut him down effectively?
Last week, Christian Cage made his intentions clear; The former TNT Champion has decided to go after the World Tag Team titles with his “son” Nick Wayne. Given Christian’s history with tag team wrestling then it wouldn’t be a surprise if he became the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
But standing in his way is Big Bill and Bryan Keith. The tag team has been trying to make a name for themselves after their fallout with Chris Jericho. Can Big Bill and Bryan Keith beat the Christian and the current ROH World TV Champion?
Also, Kyle Fletcher will be in action as he’ll take on former International Champion Roderick Strong. The Paragon has had issues with the Don Callis Family over the past couple of months. Roderick Strong is hoping to rebound after taking the pin for his team on last Saturday’s episode. But Fletcher has yet to lose in a singles match since his classic against Will Ospreay at Revolution. Can the former International Champion finally get one over a Don Callis Family member?
