Kenny Omega hopes to collect every title he can get his hands on in the pro wrestling world, and he's now added another to his collection. Putting his AEW World Championship on the line in a title vs. title match against IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann at Rebellion, it was Omega who ultimately walked away with both belts after scoring the 1-2-3.
Former SmackDown and NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo was calling the action, while Omega had The Good Brothers and Don Callis in his corner. Swann, meanwhile, had Willie Mack and Eddie Edwards backing him up (the match also had two referees: IMPACT's Brian Hebner and Dynamite's Aubrey Edwards.
It was one heck of a bout - despite the fact there was some outside interference courtesy of Callis - and there were a lot of near falls.
After an exciting back and forth, Swann went to the second rope to hit a Phoenix Splash, but Omega was able to move. As a result, he hit another V-Trigger and then the One-Winged Angel for the pinfall victory. With that, the AEW World Champion now holds the IMPACT World Championship as well.
Omega is now a triple champion as he also holds the AAA Mega Championship.
