ALL ELITE WRESTLING Boss Tony Khan Addresses Rumors Of Another Weekly Show On TNT

We've been hearing rumblings for a while now that TNT is planning another weekly All Elite Wrestling show to join Dynamite and Dark, and company President Tony Khan has now weighed in on those reports...

All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan was a guest on Eric Bischoff's "83 Weeks" podcast this week, and among the topics covered were those continuing reports of another weekly show for the company on TNT. We already have flagship broadcast Dynamite, not to mention Dark, but it's been said that this would be the AEW equivalent of SmackDown to Dynamite's RAW

However, as Khan explained, it might not be the straightforward wrestling show a lot of people are expecting. "I’ve had a lot of time to think about different formats. It would probably be a one hour show. We do have a different idea for a format," he teased. "It still involves wrestling, which is the most important thing to me that there will be wrestling matches, but in a different format."

"Exactly what we’ve seen, but I’m not sure I have an idea that reinvents the wheel, but I think we can do some fun stuff. We are surrounded by a lot of creative people."

Dynamite occasionally comes under fire for a lack of "world building" and the sort of entertaining storylines seen in something like "Being The Elite," so it's feasible that this second show would feature more of both that and promos.

That would be no bad thing, but TNT's plans have likely been delayed thanks to COVID-19.
