Though legal issues still seem to be preventing anyone from getting into the specifics of what went down, All Elite Wrestling talent are beginning to share their thoughts on last year's infamous All Out media scrum and the backstage brawl that ensued.
For anyone who may not be aware of what happened, then champion CM Punk called out AEW Executive Vice Presidents Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks during his post-match interview, and when The Elite confronted him backstage, things got physical.
Though not directly involved with the situation, Britt Baker (DMD) has been part of the company from the very beginning, and has some strong feelings about what transpired.
"Speaking solely on what I watched, as someone who loves AEW more than anything in the world and has so much pride and at a time when it felt like something special," the former AEW Women's Champion said during an interview with Brandon Walker. "Some of the biggest names in professional wrestling were all fighting for the same team. Especially after a huge pay-per-view, that pay-per-view was amazing, one of the biggest houses we’ve ever had. That scrum was heartbreaking. It was embarrassing, and it was disappointing because, it felt like, at this moment in time, it felt like a disaster."
This is a sentiment that's been echoed by many others, of course, although Omega did recently suggest that all parties may be ready and willing to work things out.
Right now, Punk's status with the company remains up in the air - but Tony Khan would be crazy to leave so much money on the table by not doing everything in his power to get these guys in the same ring.
