Are you reald for the Casino Gauntlet match?

One thing that’s really gotten over in the past year or two is the AEW Casino Gauntlet match. The company even had a men’s Casino gauntlet match at the 2024 All In pay-per-view that saw the debut of Ricochet and the return of Nigel McGuiness.

Perhaps the surprises will be bigger this year as AEW has confirmed the return of the Casino Gauntlet match at All In. But this year’s version isn’t just for the men as Tony Khan has confirmed that a men’s and women’s version is scheduled for the company’s biggest show of the year. The winners of said match will earn a future world title shot.

Thus far, the participants of the match have yet to be determined. There’s no word on who those potential names could be. Last year’s Gauntlet had 12 competitors. It would be surprising if there were 12 wrestlers in both the men’s and women’s, but this does seem like the get everyone on the show match so it wouldn't be impossible to believe. Nevertheless, it should be a good match with hopefully some clever surprises sprinkled in.

All In is less than a month away. There’s only been five matches announced so far, with more expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks. They are clearly setting up The Young Bucks and Swerve Strickland in some kind of a match. But that’s really the only obvious match that sticks out at the moment.

AII In is scheduled to take place in Arlington, Texas at Globe Life Field on Saturday, July 12. The show will be headlined with an AEW World Championship match between Jon Moxley and Adam “Hangman” Page. Check out the other confirmed matches below:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship
  • Toni Storm vs. TBS Champion Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s Championship
  • AEW International Champion Kenny Omega vs. AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada for the new AEW Unified Championship
  • Men’s Casino Gauntlet match
  • Women’s Casino Gauntlet match
