Mr. Brodie Lee is the new TNT Champion after defeating Cody in incredibly dominant fashion in the main event of AEW Dynamite.

The American Nightmare got a couple of quick shots in right at the start of the match, before Lee completely ran through his opponent. A couple of superkicks, a powerbomb, and a devastating lariat later and it was all over.

Cody actually needed to be stretchered off (storyline), but his night was far from over.

At the top of the ramp, The Exalted One and the rest of the Dark Order attacked Arn Anderson before dumping Rhodes off the stretcher and hitting him in the head with a bag containing the old TNT title. They then dragged Dustin and QT Marshall out and dumped them beside the former champ. When Brandie attempted to stop the attack, Lee had Anna Jay choke her out.

This was clearly done to establish Lee and The Dark Order as a real threat, and it worked. We've made fun of this faction in the past because this kind of dominant display is what's been needed for quite a while, but now that it's happened, maybe AEW will start giving the fans a reason to take these guys seriously.
