Former AEW Star Paige VanZant Responds To Trolls Fat Shaming Her For Recent 20lbs Weight Gain

It's become all too common for AEW stars to vanish from television for weeks or months at a time, and that was definitely the case for Paige VanZant.

It looked like Tony Khan had big plans for her once upon a time, and the former MMA fighter's in-ring work was undeniably impressive. Unfortunately, while we'd heard that VanZant was training as a wrestler with Gangrel at his Coastal Championship Wrestling training facility in Florida, it seems she decided against continuing and hasn't wrestled for AEW since last May.

Of course, considering the fact VanZant makes a killing from her modelling career (including on OnlyFans), she really doesn't need to wrestle!

As you might expect, VanZant keeps her social media accounts updated with lots of photos and, in recent months, has found herself being trolled by those fat shaming her for what many have claimed is her slightly less "ripped" appearance.

Why anyone cares enough about that to harass the bare-knuckle fighter is hard to say, but the former pro wrestler has now decided to respond.

In a lengthy Instagram post, VanZant talks about gaining more than 20lbs in recent months and the impact negative comments have had on her. She also highlighted the dangers of how misleading social media can be and ended things on a positive note by vowing to continue being the real her on social media, trolls be damned.

As we're sure you'll agree, we'd argue that VanZant is looking better than ever...
