Wednesday's episode of Dynamite was headlined by the Inner Circle squaring off with the Pinnacle in a violent Blood and Guts match. The show took place in front of 1500 fans, but what you may not know is that the first hour was actually taped weeks. Dave Meltzer broke the news on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.

That first hour was shown to those in attendance on the big screens surrounding the ring, and the noise we heard watching from home actually came from them (meaning it wasn't piped in).

All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan had previously told fans that this was how the first hour would be handled and that those who showed up to the event would only be getting Blood and Guts match in person. That was also made clear when tickets were sold, but to Khan's credit, he told everyone there that if they didn't know and weren't happy about it being a one-match show, refunds would be given.

As it turns out, only five people actually asked for refunds on the day and they were given.

The Blood and Guts special was a hit with fans, though the botched ending (which saw Chris Jericho fall from the cage on to poorly disguised padding) has been generating a lot of attention online.
