The post-show for last night's All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite got even more interesting than usual last night after both Jim Ross and Taz weighed in on the rivalry between AEW and NXT. Around the seventeen-minute mark, they start discussing AEW's younger talent, and that led Ross to ponder why anyone would choose to watch NXT live.

"This is going to sound real a**-kissing, but why is there even a choice on Wednesday night?" he said. "DVR NXT, watch it later, our s**t’s better. I’m proud of being able to say that, it’s not in defiance, it’s just in reality."

Taz added: "I don’t remember the last time I even watched their show, that’s no bulls**t. I really don’t give a rats a** about it. I respect the men and women there that are bumping and working. I’m not trying to be a homer. I’m so locked into what we do."

They both then addressed the fact that AEW doesn't shy away from mentioning that their wrestlers have once competed in WWE, and Taz believes NXT (and WWE in general) refusing to even acknowledge that AEW exists ultimately just insults the intelligence of fans watching at home.

"You will get people on the YouTube comments be like, ‘All there it is again, AEW complaining about WWE,’ no dumb sh**s, what we’re doing is not insulting your intelligence, and we’re acknowledging WWE. They are the ones insulting your intelligence, we bring them up, they’re relevant, we’re relevant."
