Jon Moxley Retains The AEW Championship On DYNAMITE In A No DQ Match Against Lance Archer

Jon Moxley is still AEW Champion after narrowly defeating Lance Archer in a No DQ Match to main event last night's special anniversary episode of Dynamite.

Both men had been launching backstage attacks on each other all night, so they were already riled up and ready to go to war when the bell rang. Mox actually hit his Paradigm Shift right out of the gate, but The Murderhawk Monster kicked out and proceeded to dominate his opponent with some hard-hitting strikes and power moves.

In the end, Archer was able to hit his Blackout finisher, but Mox reversed the pin attempt and scored a victory with a backslide.

Afterwards, Eddie Kingston (who had been on commentary) and the Lucha Bros. made their way to the ring, seemingly to help Jon when Lance began to lay in a post-match beat down. Kingston raised his old friend's hand, but then whacked him with a backhand and locked in a rear-naked choke.

Kingston vs. Moxley for the AEW Championship (again) at Full Gear? Sure looks that way.
