Matt Cardona, FKA Zack Ryder In WWE, Makes His AEW Debut On DYNAMITE To Help Out Cody

Are you serious bro! (sorry). Matt Cardona, formerely known as Zack Ryder in WWE, made his All Elite Wrestling debut on Dynamite this week to help out his pal Cody after an attack from The Dork Order...

Woo woo woo, you know it! (promise that's the last one). The man formerly known as Zack Ryder, Matt Cardona, made his All Elite Wrestling debut this week on Dynamite when he ran in to save his friend Cody from a beat-down.

The American Nightmare had just retained the TNT Championship over talented indie sensation Warhorse when two members of the Dork Order (Gru Stayson and Number 2 or something) rushed the ring and attacked both competitors. When Arn Anderson stepped up (we were denied a spinebuster), Matt made his entrance and cleared the ring with a few Rough Ryders (we assume he'll be renaming that move).

Cardona is a talented guy, but AEW needs to be careful about bringing in too many former WWE wrestlers in too short a span of time - especially when they're struggling to find spots for a lot of talent as is.

Anyway, we'll see how things pan out with "Strong island" here.
