This week's episode of AEW Dynamite wasn't a particularly eventful one, but there was some entertaining interplay between Chris Jericho and the man who will officially face him for the AEW Heavyweight Championship at the Revolution PPV, Jon Moxley.

An eye-patch wearing Mox opened the show by questioning Le Champion's manhood and taunting The Inner Circle, inviting them to get the inevitable beat-down over with. Jericho and his boys soon obliged, but security rushed in before things escalated.

Later on in the night, Jericho was in action when he teamed with Santana and Ortiz to take on Private Party and Darby Allin. After winning the match, The Inner Circle put a vicious beating on Allin until Moxley came to his aid with a baseball bat.

Has the Purveyor of Violence secured a new ally in his war against The Inner Circle?
