The former AEW World Tag Team Champions return tonight.
For the first time since October 2024, The Young Bucks make their in-ring returns against two of AEW’s fastest rising stars - Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. Bailey and Knight are primarily singles competitors, though the latter is no stranger to tag team wrestling. That’s because Knight mainly competed as one in New Japan Pro-Wrestling alongside KUSHIDA as the Intergalactic Jet Setters. Knight is a former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.
The Bucks have also held New Japan tag team gold, but there situation is a bit more complex. That’s because Matthew and Nicholas returned in controversial fashion by ruining Swerve Strickland’s chances of winning the AEW World Heavyweight title. Plus, The Bucks are walking a tight line with The Death Riders. With so much going on, can the Young Bucks focus and get the win on two promising AEW newcomers? Or will Knight and Bailey prove to be too much for the former AEW World Tag Team Champions?
The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament semi-finals begin when former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter will take on former TBS Champion Kris Statlander. This is a first time ever match between two AEW originals. Hayter has been gaining steam since her return at All In last year, but Kris Statlander’s luck has been turning around since her battles with Mercedes Mone. Who will advance to the next round at Double or Nothing?
Also, former AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR is scheduled to make their returns. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were suspended due to attacking referees and coming close to piledriving Tony Schiavone. With their new aggressive side, who will Dax and Cash take their anger out on in this week’s episode?
Speaking of Champions, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley challenged Samoa Joe to a world title match after the 46-year-old choked him out on last week’s episode of Dynamite. Will Samoa Joe accept the opportunity to take back the AEW World title?
