There was a very unexpected title change during last night's AEW: Battle of the Belts II taping as Sammy Guevara defeated Scorpio Sky to regain the TNT Championship.

Despite being a babyface, Guevara was met with boos by fans in the building. It's said that Sammy kissing Tay Conti led to a lot of boos, and you have to believe the plan now is for them both to turn heel. Before bringing their relationship to television, they were both getting over as popular babyfaces, and while a heel turn may have always been the plan, this booking has backfired if not.

Elsewhere in the show, Jonathan Gresham retained the ROH World Championship against Dalton Castle. Satnam Singh, Jay Lethal, and Sonjay Dutt walked out to ringside during the match, prompting Samoa Joe to make his way to the ring with a steel pipe after what happened during Dynamite.

In the main event, Thunder Rosa defeated Nyla Rose to retain her AEW Women's World Championship. This airs on TNT tonight and is another of the specials announced when AEW moved to TBS.

How do you feel about Guevara and Conti's pairing on TV?
