Two big title matches have been added to At World’s End!
First, Thunder Rosa will be the next challenger for the Women’s World title. Before the surprising return of Toni Storm on Dynamite, the 38-year-old was in the crowd holding up various signs like “WTF” and “You Are Not My Champ”. AEW made it very clear that Thunder Rosa was the next opponent for Mariah May, though that situation did get a bit murky when Toni Storm returned.
AEW is doing a strange storyline with Storm where the former AEW Women’s World Champion doesn't even seem to remember that she was in the company. In fact, Toni Storm confirmed on Collision that she was All Elite!
Meanwhile, Mariah May was pissed off in her latest promo following Storm’s return. She notably calls out Thunder Rosa, though she didn’t forget about Toni Storm.
Nevertheless, Thunder Rosa got a chance to respond to Mariah May calling her out and she made their match in two weeks a Tijuana Street Fight.
Last but not least, Powerhouse Hobbs will finally get his chance to take something important away from the Don Callis Family - The International title. Surprisingly, it was Callis himself who booked the match between Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs.
This is coming after Hobbs and Mark Davis got a huge win over Takeshita and Lance Archer on Rampage on Friday. The At World’s End pay-per-view on December 28th is shaping up to be another banger from AEW.
Below is the updated match-card:
• Jon Moxley (c) vs. Hangman Page vs. Jay White vs. Orange Cassidy for the AEW World title
• Mariah May (c) vs. Thunder Rosa in a Tijuana Street Fight for the AEW women’s world title
• Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs for the AEW International championship
• MJF vs. Adam Cole for the Dynamite Diamond Ring
