RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch is one of WWE's top female stars (if not the top one), but "The Man" is all too aware of what else is happening in the world of pro wrestling.
During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Lynch revealed whether she watches any shows outside of RAW, NXT, and SmackDown. "I watch everything," she admitted. "Competition is great. It’s great for the creative because I think it drives everybody. I think Vince McMahon works incredibly well when he’s pushed by competition. There [are] options for fans, for wrestlers, and yeah it’s great."
Pushed on whether she views AEW as competition, Lynch responded: "I consider them the alternative. Their product is different than our product. We offer a different product than they do."
That's definitely true, but arguably the best way to look at it rather than comparing the sports entertainment that WWE offers to AEW's professional wrestling. Despite that, we know AEW President Tony Khan has his eye on some of the recently released Superstars, and Lynch also shared her thoughts on some of those.
"I’m very close with the IIconics, I’m very close with Lana. There’s a few that I’m very sad to see go."
