We've already brought you some highlights from Seth Rollins' appearance on
WWE Backstage last night but among the topics discussed by the
RAW Superstar was the fact he had to wrestle The Fiend under that red lighting. Fans don't really like it but it's reportedly a Vince McMahon idea so likely isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
It turns out that Rollins isn't a fan either and he was actually unaware that the red lighting was going to be left on during their controversial match at
Hell in a Cell back in October.
"I didn’t know," he revealed. "I had no idea that it was gonna stay on. It was part of his entrance and then it just never turned off. It was a mess for me because first of all, you’re in this dark red. The cell is also red and you’re trying to navigate around the edges of the cell and it’s very tight quarters to begin with."
"It was a mess, it was very difficult to deal with especially not knowing it was gonna happen," Rollins continued. "I for one am not a fan. I feel like it affects my performance personally."
The former Universal Champion added that he eventually got used to it and, as we mentioned, it's clearly going to be a permanent fixture for the time being as it was also used at Survivor Series.
