New AAA World Tag Team Champions were crowned.
Last week, Lucha Libre AAA announced that Raj Dhesi and Satnam Sing were no longer the AAA World Tag Team Champions due to inactivity. The duo won the belts at TripleMania XXXII and kept those titles for 214 days. However, the previous Tag Team Champions don’t have a single title defense on record.
It’s strange that AAA allowed this to go for so long, but the promotion quickly booked a tag title match for their annual Rey de Reyes show on Saturday. It was another triple threat bout between Laredo Kid & Pagano, Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Sanson & Forastero), and the one and only, Jeff Jarrett and Sam Adonis.
The match was pure chaos and broke down Sanson and Laredo Kid. Sanson got the better of that exchange and pinned Laredo Kid following an avalanche driver. This is not Sanson and Forastero’s first title reign as the duo previously held those belts for 205 days back in 2023/2024.
Those were the only new championships crowned at Rey de Reyes as Flammer retained the Reina de Reinas championship and Alberto El Patron is still the AAA Mega Champion thanks to JBL, who has been randomly attacking people in different promotions lately without much explanation.

- AAA Tag Team Championship - Three-Way Match: Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Sanson & Forastero) def. Laredo Kid & Pagano, and Jeff Jarrett & Sam Adonis to win the vacant titles!
- AAA Reina de Reinas Championship Match: Flammer (c) def. Dalys.
