More cancellations in the wrestling world as AAA’s Rey de Reyes pay-per-view event will no longer take place.

The show was scheduled for March 21 in Merida on the Yucatan Pennisula, with the main event seeing Psycho Clown, Monster Clown & Murder Clown taking on RUSH, LA Park, & Bestia Del Ring in what would’ve been a wild six-man tag team match.

The event also featured Kenny Omega, who was set to defend his AAA Mega Championship against Laredo Kid. Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix were also going to put the AAA World Tag Team titles on the line, and Hijo Del Vikingo, Myzteziz Jr. & Octagon Jr. vs. Rey Escorpion, Texano Jr., & La Hiedra for the AAA World Trios Championship was also advertised.

At the moment, it doesn’t appear that the event will be rescheduled; however, AAA hasn’t detailed what will happen going forward. We’ll keep you updated when the lucha libre promotion makes more announcements in the future.
