Hopefully, the third time will be the charm.

Josh Barnett has confirmed that Jon Moxley will compete at the returning show on October 11. Originally, the AEW World Champion was set to compete at last year’s event in September; however, Moxley was forced to pull out due to injury. A match-up between Moxley and Josh Barnett was rescheduled for WrestleMania weekend, but that show was ultimately scrapped due to the coronavirus situation:

Thus far, his opponent has yet to be confirmed for the special event. Moxley isn’t the only name talent competing at the show as Deonna Purrazzo (Impact Knockouts Champion), Josh Alexander of The North, former X-Division Champion Homicide, and Calvin Tankman are also booked for the show.

Bloodsport is professional wrestling in a ring with no ropes; The rules include no pins and fights are stopped based on knockouts, submissions, or disqualifications. In the past, talents such as Frank Mir, Timothy Thatcher, Minoru Suzuki, Killer Kross, and Davey Boy Smith Jr. have fought under the special event in years past.
