In the third championship match of the evening, Davey Boy Smith Jr. looked to finally win the MLW National title from the powerhouse of The Dynasty, Alex Hammerstone.

Hammerstone and Smith have been feuding for months now, with the two talents previously clashing during the Kings of Colosseum event; That match-up ended via Disqualification thanks to the shenanigans of The Dynasty.

The Hart Foundation member took it to Hammerstone and came close to winning the MLW National title via submission; however, MJF and Richard Holliday interfered on the behalf of Hammerstone. Davey got rid of the Dynasty members swiftly, but Hammerstone took advantage of the moment and got the win with a roll-up while his legs were on the ropes.
