In his first match with MLW, Aerostar will get the chance to become the next National Openweight Champion.

The promotion has confirmed that Alex Hammerstone will defend the belt against the AAA star on January 11 at MLW: Zero Hour in Dallas, Texas. The Dynasty member has been a very dominant champion thus far, defeating talents such as Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Savio Vega.

The powerhouse of the group won the belt back at Fury Road in June by defeating Brian Pillman Jr. to become the first-ever National Openweight Champion. With Aerostar's strong high-flying ability, could the Lucha Libre star pull off the upset and capture the prestigious title?
